Performance Physical Therapy

  • We are located inside the Athletic Outcomes fitness studio at 2301-A E Riverside Dr #50, Austin, TX 78741.

  • Onyx is a cash-pay, out-of-network practice. We do not bill your insurance.

    We believe that our clients deserve high-touch, one-one-one service that is not limited by typical insurance constraints. We provide our clients with more support and resources than the typical physical therapy experience.

    We provide invoices for all visits that may be used to seek out-of-network reimbursement depending on your specific insurance plan.

    We accept credit cards, cash, check, or FSA/HSA.

  • The majority of clients feel ready to perform within 10 sessions. After your initial assessment, your physical therapist will provide you with a recommendation based on your needs and goals.

  • We can treat you for 2 weeks without a prescription for physical therapy.

    After 2 weeks, Texas law requires a referral from a physician, nurse practitioner, PA, or chiropractor to continue physical therapy.

    • In-Person Coaching offers hands-on coaching, movement corrections, and real-time feedback, ideal for those who want live guidance in their training.

  • I focus on sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, ACL recovery, shoulder issues, and chronic pain management for active individuals.

  • Unlike standard PT, my approach integrates performance training, strength coaching, and return-to-sport progressions—not just rehab exercises.

  • Absolutely! I work with high-performing athletes and active individuals to reduce injury risks and optimize training longevity.

  • If you’re dealing with pain or an injury that limits training, PT is the best route.

    If you’re healthy but want to get stronger, faster, or more durable, performance coaching is the way to go.

  • Yes! I provide objective performance testing and phased return-to-sport programming to ensure a safe transition back to competition.

  • Generally, a 6-12 month phased approach covering:

    • Strength & power restoration

    • Reactive agility & sport-specific drills

    • Return-to-competition prep
